New life of power facilities of the Southern capital
03.03.2022
ERSO holding specifically for the substation "Pasechnaya" in Sochi, manufactured a transformer TDTN-40000/110.
The design is a three-phase oil-type three winding power transformer with natural oil circulation and forced air circulation with voltage regulation under load. The transformer manufactured by the Ufa site of the ERSO holding has successfully passed all acceptance tests and is now being prepared for shipment.
The Pasechnaya substation is a key power facility for residents of the Krasnodar Territory. In addition to 100 transformer substations, it feeds 24 socially significant facilities.
The substation was built in 1972, at present the equipment is very worn out and the loads exceed the available resources.
Currently, work is underway to modernize the substation, by November 2022 it is planned to connect two transformers with a capacity of 40 MVA each, this will increase the power several times. The purpose of the reconstruction is to upgrade equipment and increase the capacity of the substation, to which more than 16 thousand subscribers are connected to the Central District, whose population is growing. The Pasechnaya substation is one of the most emergency sections in Sochi's electrical networks, as it can no longer cope with the ever-increasing load. For example, in 2012, a major accident occurred at the substation, equipment that was installed 40 years ago burned down.
The new digital equipment will allow specialists to remotely control the facility.
