Modern metallurgy with ERSO transformers

11.03.2022
On March 15-17 Chelyabinsk will host the 7th Seymartec Energy International Forum. Experts will discuss issues of sustainable development and energy efficiency in mining, metallurgy, energy and oil and gas industries. Representatives of the ERSO electrotechnical holding will talk about the strategic directions for modernizing power systems in this area.

In recent decades, the productivity of arc furnaces has increased significantly. Modern electric furnace transformers withstand increased loads. Thanks to the optimization of energy technological processes, the melting time was reduced to 30-40 minutes, and the power consumption was reduced by almost 50%.

ERSO products meet all modern requirements, covering the needs of modern metallurgical industries. The company produces the widest range of furnace transformers and does not intend to stop there. At the Moscow Electrozavod (part of the ERSO group), work is constantly underway to improve the design and develop new, even more productive and safe models.

— In today's realities, we are waiting for the active growth of the domestic industry, and our holding, for its part, is ready to meet the needs of the market, — says Alexander Krizhik, head of the Metallurgy department. — Most of the metallurgical enterprises were equipped in the 90s, so the question of replacing the supporting equipment will soon arise. I think that now it is especially important to use all platforms for dialogue and interaction. Only high-quality collaboration will make it possible to find the best solutions and meet growing needs.
