ERSO took part in the "Green System" project

At the site of the city ecological holiday "Green System", residents and guests of Ufa and Nagaevo could not only get acquainted with the concept of conscious consumption, but also immediately take the first step towards a more environmentally friendly life: bring plastic, waste paper, glass, metal and tetrapack to the collection point for secondary resources - after the holiday, recyclables went for processing to make something new and useful out of it. Things in good condition that can still serve new owners: clothes, jewelry, indoor plants and books - the participants of the holiday brought to the free exchange fair and immediately found something suitable for themselves.
The organizers have prepared an educational and entertainment program for all ages: a master class on sewing eco-bags, an eco-quest with a drawing of eco-prizes, a museum of recycled materials and reusable alternatives. The title partner of the "Green System", the MTS digital ecosystem, provided the participants of the holiday with the opportunity to calculate their environmental footprint in a digital environmental game and find ways to reduce it.
The city ecological holiday in Nagaevo is part of the All-Russian environmental education project "Green System", the purpose of which is to popularize the practice of separate waste collection and responsible attitude to the environment through city ecological holidays. By the end of the year, 40 project events will cover 10 regions of Russia. On the same weekend, Green System events, in addition to Ufa, were held in St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Rostov-on-Don and Krasnodar.
“Care for the environment is one of the priorities of our Foundation. We hold sports events with the meaning of Run #ZaFores and Step #ZaFores and plant trees for each participant as part of the project of the ECA Movement “Southern Forest Belt of Russia”. We support "green" projects of partner companies and motivate them to launch new ones. On our flagship educational platform "Lift to the Future", anyone can take online courses on eco-habits. Green System is a new format aimed at developing regional eco-volunteering and environmental education of the younger generation: after all, good habits are most easily formed in childhood,” says Alexander Torovtsev, curator of social projects at the Sistema Charitable Foundation.
The Green System project involves partner companies of the Sistema Charitable Foundation — the largest employers in the country, who make plans for decades to come and pay great attention to the environmental agenda as one of the pillars of sustainable development.

In the company, we are systematically working to improve the culture of our employees in the field of ecology. But in order to keep our planet green, it is necessary that every person understands the consequences and knows the basic principles of waste collection and recycling, not only at enterprises, but also in everyday life.
