The parties discussed projects aimed at modernizing the energy system in East Africa.
To date, the Republic of Ethiopia has a total primary energy production of 0.13 quadrillion British Thermal Units (Btu) with a consumption of 0.36 Btu. The difference of 0.23 thermal units shows the urgent need for electricity generation and transformation.
At the meeting, representatives of the electrotechnical holding proposed to consider the issue of creating a single regional center, which is able to provide a reliable power supply to the country.
