Pushing the boundaries: ERSO is ready to provide efficient power supply in East Africa

02.02.2022
The CEO of ERSO International Electrotechnical Holding held a meeting with the Ambassadors of the Republic of Ethiopia and Global Value Finance.
The parties discussed projects aimed at modernizing the energy system in East Africa.
To date, the Republic of Ethiopia has a total primary energy production of 0.13 quadrillion British Thermal Units (Btu) with a consumption of 0.36 Btu. The difference of 0.23 thermal units shows the urgent need for electricity generation and transformation.
At the meeting, representatives of the electrotechnical holding proposed to consider the issue of creating a single regional center, which is able to provide a reliable power supply to the country. ERSO Holding is ready to provide comprehensive technical and consulting support. According to Goran Malbasic, General Director of the holding, a unified technical solution will not only speed up processes, but will also save money on service in the future. ERSO offers a turnkey service package: assembly, supply, installation and, in the future, maintenance of the electrical system.
The representatives of Ethiopia - the Ambassador of the Republic of Ethiopia Alemayehu Tegenu and the Minister Plenipotentiary, Deputy Head of the Mission of Ethiopia in the Russian Federation Cham Ugala Uryat - were interested in the voiced proposal. The parties agreed on a detailed study of the plan.
