ERSO supports millennials and buzzers to make contact

At the Moscow site of ERSO, within the framework of the ERSO University project, a master class "Theory of Generations" was held. Business coach Anna Khomchishkina told young professionals how to find a common language with representatives of different age groups.

The meaning of the theory of generations is that approximately no 20 years people are born whose worldview and experience are similar to those of their predecessors. (So, according to the concept, Generation X - people born from 1961 to 1981, Generation Y (millennials) - from 1982 to 2004, Generation Z (zoomers) - from 2005). Their differences can negatively add up to the results of the workflow.
According to Renat Tugushev, head of the ERSO personnel training, assessment and development department, one of the goals of the holding is that young people who come to work in the holding can easily realize their potential and feel comfortable in the team.

- Beginners have the opportunity to quickly gain invaluable experience. For example, in the engineering and design departments there are employees with really unique knowledge and competencies who have worked for more than 20 years in our production. But sometimes there is a generational conflict. Experienced specialists need to accept that young people are better in some way, they are the future of the company, and the new team members should respect the views of the older generation and absorb knowledge like a sponge,” noted Renat Tugushev.

The theory of generations does not answer the question of how to build communication with a specific person, but explains how to perceive and adequately treat our differences. As explained in the HR department, a number of lectures and master classes are planned on interpersonal and cross-functional communications. On which trainers and experienced psychologists will tell you how to establish contact, sort out conflicts and understand how to behave in the most difficult situations.

ERSO places particular emphasis on the qualifications of the invited experts. The company closely cooperates with the Lift to the Future project of the AFK Sistema charitable foundation, which has established itself as one of the best career guidance and training projects.
