ERSO provided miners with energy

29.03.2022
ERSO produced seven transformer substations, especially for the Peschanka mining and processing plant.

Mining company Baimskaya received a license for geological exploration, exploration and production of non-ferrous and precious metals.

To develop the deposit in the Chukotka autonomous region, construction began on the Baimsky mining and processing plant and a logistics base to obtain concentrates containing copper, molybdenum, gold and silver.

As part of the project, the ERSO electrotechnical holding entered into an agreement with GDK Baimskaya LLC for the supply of seven complete transformer substations. Four complete transformer substations 35/10-0.4 kV with a capacity of 2 MVA each with "dry" power transformers with the ability to switch to 10 kV and 35 kV. and three complete transformer substations 35/0.4 kV with a capacity of 1 MVA each.

These substations will provide electricity to the construction sites of the Plant.

The Peschanka gold-copper-molybdenum deposit is located in the northeast of Siberia, in the Bilibinsky district of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. It was discovered in 1972, since then exploration and study work has been carried out.
Based on geological modeling data from 2016, the estimated and probable ore reserves are 1,428 Mt.
Finished products will be shipped to consumers from the port of Pevek.
