The ERSO team entered the top five of the #ZaLes Run

The Sistema Charitable Foundation summed up the results of the third charity run of the largest Russian companies, organized with the support of the MTS digital ecosystem — the #ZaLes Run.
This year, the Fund's sports and charity event for partner companies exceeded the results of last year: 2020 participants from 122 cities of Russia ran over 68,400 kilometers from Kaliningrad to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk!
The #ZaLes race brought together employees of more than 20 Russian companies for the third time: AFK Sistema, MTS digital ecosystem, Medsi Group, Segezha Group, Agroholding Step, OZON, Binnopharm Group, Etalon Group, Sitronics Group, Concept Group, Vologda Textile Plant, Cosmos Hotel Group, BPGC, ERSO Holding, Gzhel Association, Natura Siberica and other major employers in the country with sports and a good cause.
“The #ZaLes run has been motivating thousands of participants across Russia for the third year to regularly go in for sports and do good deeds. It's simple: summer is the best time for outdoor activities, running is an affordable sport, and sports volunteering is the easiest way to do a good deed. All you need is sneakers, a tracker app and a desire to change the world for the better,” said Alexander Torovtsev, curator of sports projects at the Sistema Charitable Foundation.
The action is based on the principle of “sport with meaning”: for each participant who runs the distance chosen during registration (5, 10 or 21 km), the Fund transfers funds for planting trees as part of the ECA Green Movement of Russia project. In the Omsk and Rostov regions, 10,000 trees are already growing, planted as a result of previous #ZaLes Races. In autumn, volunteers from the Sistema Charitable Foundation, partner companies and the ECA Movement will again plant trees on the site of burnt forest belts in the southern regions of the country.
A special date with a double charitable meaning this year was the day of the "I'm with you" race in support of people who faced difficult diagnoses - all participants of the #ZaLes Run who ran 5 or 10 km that day automatically joined it. Based on the total number of such participants, the Sistema Charitable Foundation will transfer money not only for planting trees, but also for the work of ANO Lenzdravklon, a team of professional hospital clowns who support the psychological state of adults and young patients.
Employees of ERSO electrotechnical holding took part in the action. They ran 1,404 kilometers, and this is the fourth result among the companies of Sistema Group. The most active runner was Ilnur Kiekbaev, process engineer of OP UTZ. The young man regularly takes part in the campaigns of the Sistema Charitable Foundation: marathons #NaLyzhne, Step #ZaLes, Race #ZaLes. This time Ilnur took the third place in the longest distance (837 km!) among all the participants of the action.
