Working day and night: ERSO handles complex tasks
10.02.2022
With the hard work of the holding employees, the electric furnace transformer at the Yartsevskiy Steel Plant received a second life.
At the end of last year, ERSO was approached by representatives of the TMK with a request to assist in the repair of a transformer at a plant in Yartsevo. He has worked in manufacturing for over 17 years. Other electrical companies rated the condition of the equipment as beyond repair. But ERSO employees took up this difficult task.
Work was carried out daily in two shifts, even the New Year holidays and weekends were no exception. To date, service maintenance has been completed, and the equipment has been successfully put into operation at the largest foundry and rolling plant in the European part of Russia. Now arc steel-smelting furnaces are provided with uninterrupted operation and will be able to fully fulfill orders for fittings.
ERSO also manufactures a standby three-phase transformer with forced circulation of water and oil for the Yartsevskiy Steel Plant. This is ne of the most powerful transformers in the rated winding voltage of 35 kilovolts. Its power limits are calculated up to 65 thousand kilovolt-amperes.
The equipment has been successfully tested after the first assembly and sent to the next assembly stages. A backup transformer will also be supplied to Yartsevo soon.
