The Step #ForGood charity online marathon has wrapped up. True to tradition, the event brought together passionate employees of JSFC “Sistema” for the sake of a common good cause.
This year, every step taken by the marathon participants translated into real support for the Veliky Ustyug Children’s Assistance Centre: with the funds raised, the Sistema Charitable Foundation will install sports facilities on the centre’s grounds, giving the children the chance to do sports on a regular basis.
Alexander Smirnov became the marathon record holder among the ERSO holding employees, showing an impressive result of 1,308,030 steps. In total, our team walked 8,434,113 steps – nearly four times more than last year. That is 210 marathon distances, enough to cover the stretch from Moscow to Vladivostok! With that achievement, the holding proudly secured second place in the overall team standings!
