Verdict: tests were passed successfully

Two transformers manufactured by ERSO Holding have successfully passed tests at the JSC Rosseti R&D High-Voltage Equipment Testing Center.

The ERSO Transformer Solutions team has modernized the designs of the TRDN-40000/110 and TDTN-40000/110 transformers, reducing their total weight by 15%. This change required checking the calculations of the equipment resistance to loads arising from short circuits by full-scale tests. According to the requirements of PJSC Rosseti for confirming the winding resistance and pressing system of power transformers during operation, the TRDN-40000/110 transformer was artificially aged by 30 years and additionally tested with shock currents.

The results of a series of tests of the two units of equipment have proven successful regarding the resistance of both transformers to short-circuit currents and the power transformers’ winding resistance and pressing system during operation.
The compliance of ERSO equipment with strict technical requirements is another confirmation of the holding's competence in the field of production and design of modern compact transformers.
