Total lightning impulse 190kV for ERSO reactor

08.02.2022
At the Moscow site of the ERSO holding, the RZKOM-16000/35 grounding compensation reactor, as well as DTF-35 and TFM-35 type transformers for Rosenergoatom, were successfully tested.

The grounding compensation single-phase oil reactor (RZKOM-16000/35) passed the mechanical strength test at elevated internal pressure. This type of reactor is designed for short-term neutralization of a three-phase group of shunt reactors of a 500, 700 and 1150 kV transmission line. RZKOM-16000/35 is required for protection in case of single-phase short circuits of power lines to earth.

Transformers DTF 35 and TFZM are large-scale converters and are designed to protect high-voltage electrical equipment from coil short circuits, provide measurement information signal transmission to measuring instruments, protection and control devices, in AC installations.

The holding includes an accredited testing center, on the territory of which certified tests of electrical products for safety, degree of protection, resistance to climatic and mechanical influences are carried out.
The equipment will soon be supplied to the Smolensk NPP. The station is located in the south of the Smolensk region, near the city of Desnogorsk. Annually, the station produces an average of 20 billion kWh of electricity, which is more than 75% of the total amount of electricity generated by the energy enterprises of the Smolensk region.
