The large-scale event jointed together sports enthusiasts at several venues: Mytishchi ice arena, where a hockey tournament was held, the Grand Usadba country park hotel, which brought together ice fishing enthusiasts, and the Target Point shooting complex in the Klinsky district became a venue for practical shooting competitions. The main part of the competition took place at biathlon and ski complex in the Maryino.
The annual Sports Contest brought together over a thousand employees from 20 leading companies of JSFC Sistema. The athletes of the ERSO holding showed incredible insistency and the will to win, participating in various disciplines: cross-country skiing, curling, snowball fight, downhill skiing, building a snow fortress and a family relay race.
Our team demonstrated excellent results, stoically withstood the pressure of the strongest rivals. Kiekbayev Ilnur and Maksimova Elena especially distinguished in the ski race and won honorary prizes. We took 4th place out of 17 participants in the construction of the snow fortress, and 2nd place out of 20 in curling. In the most spectacular performance, schussing, we also finished fourth. And in the team competition of the division, the ERSO holding team won silver!
Neither the icy rain, nor the squally wind and slippery track could prevent our team from winning. Because willpower and strive to win are what distinguishes the real athletes!
