The Ufa State Petroleum Technological University hosted a career guidance session for second-year students of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Industrial Electrical Equipment. Specialists from the Training Centre of JSC ERSO HOLDING spoke about the history of the plant and its operations, explained what transformers are made of, how they are assembled, and what purposes they are used for.
The students engaged in the “Intellectual Crossfit” game, demonstrating their skills, intelligence and teamwork. They solved puzzles, built bridges together out of wooden sticks, and assembled blue whale-shaped jigsaw puzzles. The top performers were awarded branded ERSO merchandise for their efforts.
Special focus was placed on career prospects in the energy sector. The students showed keen interest in employment opportunities, salary levels, and career growth possibilities within the holding. They also learned about internship opportunities at our company. By the end of the meeting, several students expressed their wish to take advantage of this opportunity. We will be nurturing the next generation!
By the way, 26 students from specialized universities are now taking internships at our company. ERSO has streamlined its professional development programs for young specialists, utilizing them as a strategic tool to address the acute workforce shortage in the power industry.
