Striking hearts

Within the event “School (Secondary Professional Education) – University – Enterprise” the Ufa Transformer Plant was visited by 9th – 11th grade school pupils of Municipal Budgetary General Education Institution Secondary School No. 5 of the Chishminsky district.

During the career guidance excursion, the school pupils were shown the production site of the Ufa Transformer Plant, where they listened to a fascinating lecture regarding the stages of transformer assembly. Elena Khayretdinova, Head of the training center, told in detail about activities of the enterprise, its work processes and the history of the ERSO Holding creation. The young people vividly discussed what they had seen and were interested in employment opportunities at the Holding.

“I imagined the plant quite otherwise: I expected to see a small and dusty room, but here it is the opposite! It is a huge clean plant, lots of different equipment and friendly staff. Addition to this I cannot help but mention the cozy dining room and recreation room for employees, where they can read, play table tennis and just relax”, says Ariana Shportko, a 10th grade school pupil.

“It is unusual to see the plant from the inside: how parts are created, how transformers are assembled and how a large enterprise works... All this is very interesting and informative. I am seriously thinking about getting a technical specialty and taking ERSO on my notice!”, says Emil Gareev, a 10th grade school pupil.

The event “School (SPE) – University – Enterprise” is held within the framework of the regional project “ChemTechLeader”, the purpose of which is to form ideas of school pupils and students about chemical-engineering areas, including through acquaintance with large profession-oriented employers.
