The “Sukhoi Log – Vitim” facility will provide power supply to plants involved in the development the Sukhoy Log gold deposit – the largest in Russia and one of the largest in the world.
Four transformers installed at the new substation include three units manufactured by Siemens, and one unit having the same weight, dimensions, and connection sizes, designed and produced by ERSO Holding specialists.

The substation will receive power from the Novolenskaya Thermal Power Plant in southern Yakutia to supply the Sukhoi Log mining and processing plant. Pilot production and construction of the plant infrastructure are currently underway at the deposit. The power supply network connects facilities of the Peleduy Power Ring operated by the Rosseti Group, which links the north of the Irkutsk Region, the Trans-Baikal Territory, the Republic of Buryatia, and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The Vitim high-voltage substation has a capacity of 520 MVA.
