In practice: electrical engineers and chemists at ERSO

Teachers of the department of electrical engineering and electrical equipment of enterprises, as well as the department of petrochemistry and chemical technologies of USPTU visited the Ufa transformer plant.
The employees of the leading departments of the Ufa State Petroleum Technological University were given a tour of the production of large transformers of the ERSO holding in Ufa. The tour went from the metal unloading area to the point of issue of finished products. Of particular interest was the workshop for winding power transformers.
In the course of being acquainted with the production, unique samples of production imported from around the world were presented.
In September last year, the leaders of the ERSO electrotechnical holding signed a bilateral agreement with USPTU, under which a basic department was created at the university, students also master the acquired knowledge in practice - a program of internships and practice has been developed. By the way, this is also an opportunity to earn money. Interns are paid. In turn, the university offers ERSO staff training programs.
Work is also underway on joint research projects. One of them involves the use of secondary raw materials for the manufacture of dielectric structural elements of power transformers. Putting the idea into practice will make it possible to produce structural materials using ERSO's own equipment, as well as increase environmental friendliness.
