From tropical summer to Russian winter

Ufa Transformer Plant (UTP) was visited by specialists from one of the leading manufacturers of electrical equipment in Vietnam.

Director of UTP Dmitry Pyrkov together with Chief Designer Andrey Shuvalov, conducted for the guests the detailed excursions at the Ufa site of the ERSO Holding. The main point of the program was a visit to the very heart of the plant, i.e., to the production facility, which area covers almost 5 football fields.

The production facilities and assembly stages of transformer equipment were shown for the colleagues from Vietnam. The specialists of the holding also shared their own technological know-how, thanks to which they managed to improve the manufacturing process and increase its efficiency. The excursion of the plant museum ended with a short lecture by Andrey Shuvalov about the history of the Moscow Electric Plant, which laid the foundation for the electrical industry in the country, as well as a story about the key stages of development of the Ufa Transformer Plant.

The visit of specialists from Southeast Asia to UTP was a reciprocal move to the business visit of JSFC Sistema founder Vladimir Yevtushenkov to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in January of this year.
