ERSO shipped autotransformer ATDTsTN-63000 intended for the Chayandinskoye oil and gas condenser field. Gaseous nitrogen was pumped into the unit, due to which the mass of the product decreased from 84 to 63 tons. This was done for the convenience of logistics
“This is an internal logistics solution,” explained Sergey Kozlovsky, Production Director of the Ufa Transformer Plant. — It was required to deliver the equipment to the customer promptly. A cargo trawl is suitable for such a task, but cannot carry too much weight. Therefore, it was decided to lighten the unit: drain the transformer oil and pump much lighter nitrogen into it.”
After the car reaches its destination, the gas will be released through the valves, and the oil will be refilled.
The Chayandinskoye field is called the heart of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline. It is located in Yakutia and belongs to the unique category in terms of reserves. "Power of Siberia" supplies "blue fuel" Primorsky Krai and the countries of the Asia-Pacific Region.
