ERSO holding specialists completed the first stage of repair work on current transformers manufactured by ABB. The machines provide electricity to hydroelectric units for the Svetlinskaya HPP.
“The second stage of repair work includes the development of design documentation, the manufacture of prototypes of current transformers (2 sets), their installation and testing, including high-voltage testing,” said Alexander Volovik, head of integrated services at ERSO holding.
According to him, services for the repair of high-tech equipment by domestic companies are in demand in the market. Now the specialists are working on projects for the modernization and repair of units manufactured by ABB, Hitachi and Siemens.
“ERSO has gathered a unique team with experience in large foreign companies, who know this equipment, and, most importantly, are ready to apply their knowledge to improve the reliability of equipment,” sums up the head of the comprehensive services department of the ERSO holding. Works on the repair of transformers are being carried out as part of the modernization of the Svetlinskaya HPP. The station is located on the Vilyui River (Yakutia), it provides electricity to the mining and processing plants of Alrosa, the leader of the Russian diamond mining industry.
