ERSO expanding international cooperation

In late July, a joint delegation of leading experts from ERSO Holding, ERSO Transformer Solutions design bureau and the Izolyator group of companies visited the head office and power plants of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), the largest electricity producer in the country.

The Russian representatives held meetings with experts of EGAT's technical departments and visited the North Bangkok Power Plant, Bang Pakong Power Plant and Mae Moh Power Plant, where they familiarized themselves with the design and technological features of local power equipment.

During the visit, the Russian companies presented their products to the Asian colleagues. Representatives of ERSO Holding also told them about the history of their enterprise (which, by the way, is 97 years old!), and offered options for the development and supply of equipment. According to Technical Director of the ERSO Transformer Solutions design bureau Denis Chekalsky, “the key goal of interaction with EGAT is to supply our reactors, as well as compete with Chinese, Japanese and Turkish manufacturers of electrical equipment.” The Thai experts’ return visit to the Moscow site of the holding company is scheduled for the end of August.

The visit of the Russian delegation is another step in strengthening ERSO Holding’s international ties and confirmation of the high interest of foreign partners in Russian electric power industry technology.
